    • What forms of payment can I use?
      We accept Visa, Mastercard and Cash. We also accept valid Gift Certificates and Customer Loyalty Points can be redeemed for FREE products.

     

    • What is your Return Policy?

    • What is your Cancellation Policy?
      To reserve an appointment you are required to provide a Visa or Mastercard with expiration date to guarantee your appointment. If you cancel or change your appointment within 24 hours you will be charged for the cost of the service.

     

    • How does the Customer Loyalty Point program work?
      Each product is assigned a point value of 1 point per dollar spent (not including taxes or Gift Certificates).

     

    IN STORE: Our system will automatically keep track of your point history. Your receipt will also tell you how many points you’ve earned at each visit as well as your total points. At checkout if you are purchasing a product and have enough points our system will automatically prompt the receptionist to ask if you would like to redeem your points as payment for your product.

    ONLINE: Our online system will automatically keep track of your point history as well. The John Francis Spa Customer Loyalty Points Program works by rewarding customers points for product purchases and allowing you to exchange those points with money at the checkout process of future purchases.

     

    • What type of Facial should I book?
      It is not necessary to know which type of Facial to book when scheduling your appointment. Our receptionist will book the time that works best for you. Upon arrival at the Spa you will be asked to fill out a one page intake form to help your Esthetician determine your goals and the type of Facial which will best meet those goals will be suggested.

     

    • How will I look after my Facial?
      Our goal is for your skin to look better when you leave than when you came in. Yes, we do extractions but our technique does not leave you looking “extracted”! If you are experiencing higher grades of acne or more than normal oil congestion, comedones (blackhead) or milia (whiteheads) then there may be 1-2 days of mild recovery time.

     

    • Should I arrive early?
      Yes, please arrive 5 minutes early to fill out your intake form, visit the restroom or relax with tea. This will help ensure we can begin your treatment on time.

     

    • Should I shave before my Facial?
      While it is not necessary to shave before a Facial, it can help you receive a more thorough treatment.

     

    • How’s the parking around the Spa?
      There is both metered and unmetered parking in the Castro. The meters only run for 1 hour so for short appointments they are fine. For longer appointments like a 90 minute Facial or a 90 minute Massage please park one block South or West of 18th St. on one of the unmetered, residential streets. You can park up to 2 hours for free.
